Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your access to and use of AzureLayer. By creating an account or joining the waitlist, you agree to them. They include our Acceptable Use Policy and Refund Policy.

Last updated: July 1, 2026

1. The service

AzureLayer provides a software-as-a-service productivity layer that connects to your Microsoft Azure DevOps organization using credentials you supply, displays and organizes your work data, and writes changes back on your instruction, including AI-assisted features. AzureLayer is an independent product; it is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Microsoft Corporation. Your use of Azure DevOps itself remains governed by your agreement with Microsoft.

2. Accounts & eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and authorized to act for the organization whose Azure DevOps data you connect. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at security@azurelayer.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Your data & permissions

You retain all rights to the content you connect to or create in AzureLayer. You grant us a limited license to host and process that content solely to provide the service. By supplying a Personal Access Token you represent that you are permitted to grant AzureLayer the access it provides.

AI features produce drafts for your review. You are responsible for reviewing AI output before syncing it to Azure DevOps.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

  • Use the service to violate any law or third-party right;
  • Access another organization’s data without authorization, or use credentials you are not entitled to use;
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service except through our disclosure program;
  • Interfere with the service’s operation, including rate-limit evasion, scraping, or resale without a written agreement;
  • Upload malicious code or content that is unlawful, infringing, or harassing;
  • Reverse engineer the service except where such restriction is prohibited by law.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy, with notice where practicable.

5. Plans, billing & taxes

Paid plans are billed per user, monthly or annually, in advance. Prices are exclusive of taxes, which you are responsible for where applicable. We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice; changes apply from your next billing cycle. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current cycle.

6. Refund Policy

Monthly plans: cancel anytime; access continues to the end of the paid period. First-time subscribers may request a full refund within 14 days of their first charge.

Annual plans: full refund within 30 days of the initial purchase; thereafter, a pro-rated refund of unused full months on request.

Refund requests go to billing@azurelayer.com and are processed within 10 business days to the original payment method. We may refuse refunds where we detect abuse of this policy.

7. Intellectual property

The service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by AzureLayer and protected by intellectual property laws. These terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service during your subscription. Feedback you provide may be used to improve the service without obligation.

8. Availability & support

We target high availability but the service is provided on an “as available” basis during early access. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where possible. Enterprise customers may agree a separate SLA. Sync depends on the availability of Microsoft’s Azure DevOps APIs, which are outside our control.

9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

Except as expressly stated, the service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits or data. Our aggregate liability under these terms is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or USD 100 if you are on a free plan). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate the service for material breach with 14 days’ notice (immediately for serious violations of the Acceptable Use Policy). On termination, your data is deleted per our Privacy Policy retention schedule.

11. General

These terms are the entire agreement between you and AzureLayer regarding the service and supersede prior agreements. If a provision is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. We may update these terms with at least 14 days’ notice for material changes; continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. Questions: legal@azurelayer.com.
